v1.040

Products now carry the EU product identifiers declared to carriers for shipments to the EU.
Merchants who manage their catalog through the API can now set the manufacturer product id and the standardized product id (e.g. GTIN) when creating a product, and read both back from the product list.

EU Product Identifiers on Product Create

Create Product (POST /v1/integrations/product) accepts two new optional fields:

  • manufacturer_product_id (string|null, max 64 characters) - the manufacturer's identifier of the product, such as a part or model number.
  • standardized_product_id (string|null, max 64 characters) - a standardized identifier of the product, such as a GTIN, EAN or UPC. Provide it whenever the product has one.

An empty or whitespace-only value, or a value longer than 64 characters, is rejected with 400. An omitted or null value stores no identifier. Leading and trailing whitespace is trimmed, and any inner run of whitespace is collapsed to a single space.

EU Product Identifiers on Product Lists

Retrieve List of Products (GET /v1/products) and Fetch results from Products for Inventory Sync (GET /v1/integrations/products/search/paginate) return the same two fields on each product:

  • manufacturer_product_id (string|null) - the stored manufacturer product id, null when none is set.
  • standardized_product_id (string|null) - the stored standardized product id, null when none is set.

Both changes add optional request fields and new response fields only. Existing integrations keep working unchanged.
